For early birds, we’re offering two outdoor activities that reflect our love for nature and highlight the area’s natural beauty. Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Gstaad provides a beautiful backdrop and majestic peaks. Join us to explore and enjoy the natural wonders of Gstaad by choosing one of these two experiences :
- The Quest of Mount Doom a rambling adventure in the mountains.
Level : Experienced climbers only
- A Walk along the Shire, a serene journey through the alps. Experience the land as if you were wandering “through the land of the hobbits” and find your own slice of Middle-earth’s tranquility.
Level : Low to medium endurance

Discover Fondueland, an oasis for lovers of delicious cheese specialities.
A fondue backpack on your back, set off for a short hike that will let you enjoy the fresh mountain air, lush grasses, and fragrant herbs that give Gstaad cheese its unique characteristics.

Looking to discover a unique treasure in Gstaad? We’re not talking about Alpine gold, but something even more precious: their world-famous alpine cheeses. These cheeses aren’t stored just anywhere – they’re kept in a grotto that we invite you to visit.
Take the time to admire this magnificent cathedral and savor exceptional cheeses.
Preparation
Please make sure you pack:
– Hiking boots, climbing shoes or approach. Any should work.
– Gym or leisure outfits suitable for outdoor activities
– Sunscreen
– Hat
– Jacket as it can get cold in the afternoon
– Water bottle – hydration is key!
